Clearence issues with Icon dual SS.
Hey guys I have been tracing a sound down for a while. Finally found it thanks god.
My Icon dual SS has a bracket which bolts onto the driver side u-bolts and goes over top my tierod. Well when the springs are under a load, that bracket ends up touching the tierod. The adjustment sleeve just so happens to be under that bracket, so it clicks and pops. Now is anyone familar with the icon dual ss bracket for 2004 f350. Can I just heat it up, throw a bottle jack under it and bend it and inch or so? |

When I intially set mine up, I played around with tightening the forward nuts and loosening the rearward nuts to get the clearance required. The torqued to spec.
I wouldn't think there'd be an issue with heating and applying upward force to get the clearance you need |

Yes. The bottom axle retainer bracket has some rotational play.
