Teach me about rear lift blocks. 2006 f350
2006 f350 with the factory helper spring. Do i want tapered or non tapered for a 5.5" block? Why does one site say won't fit with the overload spring? What does that have to do with it? I just looked at the truck and didn't think it would matter.
I was looking at the Tuff country 5.5" rear block kit. DO most rear block kits not incorporate the factory bump stop? |

I decided to go with 6" icon vehicle dynamic blocks. Where can i get the u bolts/hardware since they don't come with them?

Top gun customs has them in a bunch of lengths. Just make sure you get the ones for a sd and torque them to the right spec drive it for a couple days then do it again.

Will i have any issues doing just the 6" blocks and maybe longer shocks? The ICON blocks are flat, not tapered.

6" blocks are pretty tall. The bigger the blocks the more likely for bad axle wrap. I would consider getting 6" lift springs. And yes new shocks.

cheapest i found, plus they make custom lengths and they are hot dipped in oil to give them a protective coating. had my fronts ubolts for a year and they still look brand spankin new |
