front end walk

last night leaving work my 02 4x4 super duty did a side to side walk like a fish swim, this is at 1-25 mph. I pulled over as i thought i had a flat tire no such luck, i grabbed the front tires and shook them side/side andtop in/out I could not find any wobble. I crawled under and tried to wiggle steering/and othe linkage "nothing". I than decided to take my chances and drove the 48 miles home the walk turned to bounce and a left pull as speed increased. When I got home I jacked the tires off the ground and tried the same shake routine, than lowered the tires to touch the ground and take some weight off the suspension and tried again still could not notice anything.

Have you checked your Track Bar? I would recommend that you take a few minutes and check all your suspension bolts. I had a loose track bar that did the same thing.

Good Luck

thank you for responding, I did find the problem, I hadn't worked the tire hard enough as I found the lower ball joint out. I am in the process of putting new greasable ones in upper and lower. thanks
