Shocks (differences)

I have a friend with a 2002 F250 long bed diesel like mine although my truck is a 2000 F350 long bed. He took his stock shocks off and went with something else. Will his shocks fit my 2000 F350?

They should work fine, as long as there is not modifications there shouldn't be a problem.
