8" lift with long bed ,Do i need to install a shim?
hey guys im getting all the parts together for my lift ,But before install just want to work out all the bugs , I have the 8" BDS 4 link lift with rear springs , and the carrier bearing drop bracket , Do i need to install a 5 degree shim under rear springs because its a long bed CC? Also was wondering about the sway bar end links , the kit i have has the drop down brackets for sway bar , can i eliminate those and just install 8" sway bar end links ? or will i still need brackets and just install a smaller set of sway bar end links ? Any input would be great thanks

I would think your going to want that pumpkin angled up help eliminate any driveline issues.
Sway bar, not sure but my previous 12" Icon kit came with the proper length links. I am sure either way would be fine. |
