Mine rode like a tank. I hated it on long trips. To be fair though I had a Tough Country lift and they are about as cheap as you can go.

what size was your lift?WHOOPS...I just looked at your truck and saw the 10"..Im lookin at puttin on an 8"...but the crap I seem to need keeps adding up and it aint lookin so fun afetr all..lol..
I was wondering this not only for ride quality but goin through states with different lift laws, I thought may end up bein a pain in azz? Are you familiar with Icon at all? |

I friend of mine recently sold his '04 F250 that had an 8" lift on it and 37's forever, and maybe the last year that he owned it he bought all new springs and lifted it 10" and ran 38's. I'm not sure how it was for long trips, but it couldn't have been horrible as he used to tow his Baja down to Florida (from Michigan) and back and would always tow his lifted jeep/quads up north or to the dunes with the truck. I believe he had some custom springs made up by a local shop so that would probably help the ride considerably

Ryan,
What kind of lift did you start with and how did you stretch it out with shackles? |

Since the OP wanted specifically for a 7.3, I won't comment more.
