Need New Shocks - Opinion on Bilstein 5100's for Stock Setup

I need to replace my shocks, thinking about Bilstein 5100's and want to know what anyone who has these specific shocks thinks of them. My truck is an 02' CC 4x4, bone stock, no mods, no lift, no leveling kit, etc. with BFG 285's on stock rims, just hit 110K miles. Please give me your feedback:

1) Do Bilsteins handle (noticably) better than stock shocks?

2) How well does the finish on them hold up? I've noticed on the threads on them I could find that some people say the finish on them sucks, but I think most of those are in areas where there's snow, salt on the roads, etc. I'm in South Carolina, so no nasty winter crap to deal with here.

3) Where's the best place to order them online?
