How Long Is Too Long? I Have a Four Inch Block And Bought New U-Bolts. They Are 14.5 Inches Long Leaving 2.5"Tread Exposed. These Blocks Don't Have Bump Stops. Do I Need To Cut The Bolts Down?

Thanks.
