Power steering 2000 f250 7.3 4wd

Last week on elk hunt blew power steering hose replaced hose and not knowing any better , I put power steering fluid in it. Now ive found out I need ATF. Did I screw it up? or will it be ok If i flush it out and replace it with ATF? And will a Return line flush method be enough? Please help

You should be able to drain it from the brake booster area and be ok, just flush alot of tranny fluid through it. I have flushed it a few times.
