Lower Ball Joint Fail on Safety Inspection

Hey guys,

I just took my truck down to have it inspected and my lower ball joints are bad and it failed. I guess my uppers tested fine and have been replaced with moog brand (before I bought the truck) but the lowers are oem and may have not been replaced ever. The truck is at 160,000. This is totally foreign to me. Anyone know a rough cost I should be looking at to make sure a shop doesnt rip me? Anything else I should check out with steering? There is quite a bit of play so I wonder if the pitman arm bushing is worn out...
