I have the Daystar 2.5" leveling kit in the front of my truck with a 1" block added to the rear. Right now the rear is .5" higher than the front and I am running Nitto Terras 325/60 R20 which is a 35" tall tire. I am curious if there is anyone out there that has something close to my setup with the 295s (which is a 34.5" tall tire) on their truck. The 325s rub the radius arm some when locked and they are only load range "D," not "E." I dont think that .5" of tire height will even be noticeable--What do you all think?
295/65/20s (such as the Nitto Trail Grapplers) shouldn't rub. It's usually the width that causes rubbing.
Search the forum for for a thread titled something like "295/65/20s on factory 20s" or for posts by a .Org member of "Johnwayne1982". He had almost the exact setup you are describing.
