Reducing lift, reusing existing parts?
So here's the deal. I bought the truck with a total of 8.5" lift. A 6.5" lift kit with a 2" leveling kit on top of that. I want to drop it down to 4" lift so I found a deal on some 4" springs. So my question is can I get away with reusing the track bar drop bracket and drop pitman arm from the 6.5" lift? I mean the PO went up 2" using that same drop brackets so why can't I go down 2" from it? All the drop pitman arm and trackbar brackets I found were all 3-6" lift so does it really matter?
Just want to get it all sorted out and parts located before I start tearin into it. |

YOU PRABABLY CAN REUSE THE DROP PARTS JUST MAKE SURE YOU SHORTEN YOUR TRACK BAR UP AND MAKE SURE YOUR DRAG LINK AND TRACK BAR ARE ON THE SAME PLANE.THEY SHOULD BE LEVEL OR A LITTLE BIT UP.
