Most, like myself, have the Bilstein 5100s...IMO, after about 300 miles, they settle down some. They are stiff but solid. Id recommend them. topguncustomz.com!

New Shocks
I agree, Bilsteins are the best thing going. We install several sets a week at our shop and get lots of positive feedback.

I know everyone oohs and aahs over Bilsteins but the rears were way too stiff for me. Cary (CT Performance) did say he could get some softer ones if I wanted them. Check with him he can definitely hook you up, and he's a site sponsor:

Monroe Reflexs for me on my 4x4. They ride much better than the Ranchos.

I went all the way down to 45psi, and it was still too rough.

Wow. Im at 55 and if it was still bad, Id def switch shocks like you did. 45 is pretty low. I assume your tires are rated at 80psi or so.

Was looking at getting 5100's but not after reading how stiff they are. They are kind of expensive too. Don't want to steal the thread but does anyone else have suggestions?
