Question on leveling kit

Hey guys
I have a 99 ford SD diesel 4x4. I am tired of the low front high back look and I just want to level it out. I don't plan on adding any bigger tires I just bought new 265s so even if I do it wont be over a 285/16
Anyway i have a new 2 inch shackle lift I got from a buddy who worked at ford. They got a truck on trade and the shackles were under the seat. made for my year truck. There isa guy selling this other leveling kit in my area. Looks to be a set of really short leaf spring blocks but looks to me they are for the front. Now i always thought the rule was no lift blocks for the front springs but these look liek they have locating pins etc. I provided a link.

So which would you do if you only wanted to level the truck out. The lift "block/short spring" kit or the old shackle lift.
Would either kit require me to do a realignment? i assume yes since I ma changing the geometry of the axle/springs/steering etc.

The link picture looks like a Deaver or icon kit..if thats what you end up with..best quality. You can reuse your stock length shocks and will not change the ride quality.

A shackle kit will ride a little better as you have more compression travel but needs longer shocks.

Both require a adj track bar to recenter the axle.

Make sure your hanger kit freebie has front hangers and rear shackles..if just the rears..throw away.

i am pretty sure that is the same leveling kit that i am looking to get off of ebay. Suspension specialists make these also. I am just unsure if I need the 2 inches of list or they also offer a 2.7 inch one.

its just the rear shackles. it was in a box said 2 inch lift 99-02 F250 super duty. I guess i am gonna go buy the other kit and see where I can get a adjustable track bar.

No haven't gotten it yet. i am looking for the adjustable track bar first. Depending on how much that costs i may or may not do it. I don't wanna spend a ton of money on a 2 inch lift.

Here is a company that sells the leveling kit and adjustable track bar and it is not too bad of a price. You could just buy the track bar too I believe if you still wanted to get that other leveling kit off craigs list.
