New ring and pinion 4x4 install cost?
What is a ballpark labor cost to install a provided ring and pinion, shim, and bearing set in a 10' F250 4x4? The parts alone are from 1300-1500, shipped, depeding on aftermarket or OEM ford stuff.

I think I paid like 600 for labor, front and rear...

Cool. That sounds ballpark. Best quote I got was 650.

$300 per axle is average cost. make sure you go to a shop that does a lot of gear changes. Doing/setting them wrong can and will wear them out very very fast
