Whats the best way to smooth out ride of 04 Excursion, 4x4?

I want to smooth out the ride of our 04 Excursion 4x4 6.0.
Have been researching air bags, front and rear. It has stock suspension. not looking to lift, maybe level. it has Monroe reflex shocks.

Any help would be appreciated.

Set the monroe shocks on fire and buy bilstein ones. I replaced my monroe ones with bilstein and my ride improved greatly.
