Need opinions on Fabtech lifts.
Ok everybody I'm looking at buying a used Fabtech lift. I'm not real sure which kit it is but I thinks it's the basic lift. Once I talk to the owner I'll update the thread. Could some of you guys that are running these or know anything about them post your pros and cons.
Thanks |

I only have used Fabtech floating traction bars, and while they worked well I was not enamoured by the reliability or quality.

Here's a pic of the kit I'm pretty sure that it's the basic kit.

I ran a Fabtech lift on my 07 Harley CCSB, it sat about 11". It was the dual remote res shock with spring set up. Complete with ladder bars front and back. These were supposed to be more comfortable then the Coil overs. In a nut shell I would not run Fabtech again. The ride is pretty ****ty. I have 3rd Coast 12" with dual fox remote res lift now on my 6.4 Harley CCSB and I love the ride. I do plan on changing it to Trevor@PMF's 12" full coil over lift so I can jump it with out worrying too much. :-) Hit up Trevor and see if he can get you a lift around your price point. He is a really cool guy.
