What is stock height???
I'm trying to figure out exactly how much lift is on my truck. Debating on lifting ita couple more inches. It is a 2001 F250 7.3 4x4. Front shock mounts from top to bottom measure 24 inches. That is measuring bolt to bolt. Anyone know what the stock measurement is on this truck so I can figure out if it is a 6.5 or an 8.5 inch lift?

What size tires you fit that will tell use more that anything.

Take this measurement on the passenger side of the front axle......from the top of the axle tube (next to the spring perch) to the bottom of the frame rail (by the bumpstop).
Stock your truck would have been 7.5" +/- 0.5" between those two points. |

I will check that out after work. Thanks for the info!

I am running 38s which I am pretty sure will fit under 6.5 and 8.5 inches of lift.....

So my measurement is 15 inches from top of axle to bottom of frame. That can kinda go either way if you +/- .5 inch. I am pretty sure it is 8.5 inches though cause my truck has the black shackles on the front that look like the ones in the Pro Comp picture.

That would be a little low for an 8.5" lift. Back when I used to do "actual lift height comparisons" of different 8" lifts the smallest 8" lift measured 15" between those points and the tallest being in the 17" range.
My truck has an advertised 8.5" suspension on it and is 16.75" between those two points. |

Ok, then here is my last question. Does anyone know the distance between the two mounting holes on the factory shackles on the front leaf springs? I can not find a part # on the shackles that are on my truck, thats why I'm thinking they are stock and I might just have to order the 2 inch shackle/hanger lift that Pro Comp makes for the lift I already have on my truck

Cmon someone hook me up and measure their stock shackles! I'm trying to decide if I wanna do different shackles or have some custom springs made.....
