4 link for an 04

Does anyone make a 4 link for an 04 that is a 4 inch lift not a 6 inch or higher. Just looking for ideas I am thinking that or getting axles from an 05 an up and getting a 4 link kit let me know what your ideas are.

I have seen a Full Traction 4-link conversion setup in the 4-5" range. It is possible but it sacrifices some travel over a leaf spring setup.

A 05+ axle swap would allow you to go 4-link or radius arm and give you bigger brakes, better unit bearings, etc..

I would like an 05 and up axle for the main purpose of better turning radius that's the most appealing about the swap but I like just a 4 link setup for the current axle due to cost I want a smoother ride. I might just go with a 6" 4 link so I dont have to sacrifice travel. To many choices.

Call Cary at CT performance 775 835-3569 he can walk you through the process. I will start my coversion next week when my Pure Performance 4 link system comes in. I bought a 06 axel for $1200.00 and i am now ready to install. There are some write ups on the same conversion on Powerstroke Nation

Good Luck

If you stick with your current axle, I would recommend the Full Traction coilover conversion without a doubt. That with some properly setup coilovers makes for a very nice setup.

We can do as low as 2.5" 4 link kits for the '05 up..so swap in tho's axles! A '05 up axle swap with 4 links will be much better and more likely much cheaper than a Full Traction 4-link,. We can get you all needed plus phone support for the install 7 days a week.

I figured swapping axles would probably be cheaper than a four link for mine. My main goal is turning radius, I hate how much space I need to turn around right now.
