mini spring pack

hi i am thinking about getting a mini spring pack for my truck. however is there any risk or damage that can happen to the truck by using one of these kits. also is there any other parts needed such as pitman arm or anything like that.

I put a 2.5" tuff country on my 2001. Im thinking it would be better to go w/ a new leaf spring pack. Mine rides very rough, not happy with it at all. as far as holding up, its been on there for over 2 years with no problems. i bought mine in kit form with a track bar drop bracket. no need for a drop pitman arm as long as you stay under 2.5".

2" mini spring packs..retain factory ride quality and can reuse your stock shocks.
As always a 2" lift requires a adj track bar or a correctly made drop bracket to correct the axle that has now shifted 1/2-3/4" per 2" of lift. Its geometry.. a science. The axle shifting will side load your spring bushings and shacks which will cause premature failure.

Just a FYI..Deaver spring who makes my mini spring packs will not make over 2.5" as they say they are unsafe...take it for what it is.
