Rize Coil Over Conversion

How does the Rize Coil over conversion bracket work? How does it mount? Do you have to drill holes into the coil cup bracket?

Thanks John

Thanks for the great info that all makes sense with the drilling etc. I'm just concerned about the large piece that protrudes down to keep a coil from popping out. How do you get rid of that sucker. Do you cut it or is it pressed in?

Thanks John

That's a good question, never really thought about it. That piece may just go over the top of it. I don't think that piece comes out, I think it's part of the coil bucket.

John:

Did you ever do this install with the Rize kit? I am thinking about it just curious if there is any more info about it.

Thanks
Cole

i used to use the rize mounts with my last set of coilovers, i have since swtiched to a custom setup that accomodates a much longer coilover.... anyway the rize mount has a hole on the inside that that nub goes into, i think it is supposed to fit over it no problem, for me it was too tight and required a little encouragement with a sludge hammer!! so you just mark and drill three holes up top, then put it in place, and tap it with hammer to slide over that nub... works pretty good... an 8" travel King coilover equaled a 7-9 inch lift with that mount

i removed the stock buckets and modified them to hold the top of the coilover about an inch higher then the top of the bucket, way up in the well as far as possible
