Lift Kit for 2011 F350
Newbie here and would appreciate all and any information and suggestions.
I am getting a 2011 F350 in a few weeks ( to replace a 2010 which has had numerous, numerous problems and the dealer came up with a good deal to get out of one and into the other) and want to install a 3" to 4" lift kit to accomodate 37" tires ( planning on Toyo Open Country A/T's which I have on other trucks - look good, work well and the quietest I have come across). I am currently running 35" BF Goodrich on 20" stock rims with a 2" front leveling kit and want to retain the factory ride also, on the replacement vehicle. One of my buddies had a 4" kit fitted on his 05 F350 with just blocks in the rear and he complained about the ride. Can anyone suggest the best brand(s) out there and would I need to include rear spring replacement or just blocks, on a new truck, in addition to that of front shocks and or coil replacements. Should I consider dual steering stabilizers. I am also looking for a 20" rim 10" wide, ideally hubcentric black with polished lip which looks beefy and most of the black/polished I have come across so far look more suited to a car with thin spokes and lots of space to see the rotor etc - makes the truck like like it's on stilletos - the only one I can find is the Moto Metal 956 black/polished. If anyone has any thoughts on any of the above or links to trucks with the type of rim I am looking for it would be much appreciated. Ken.J

We have a few different options for 2011 suspension systems:
2011 F250/350 SRW 4wd Lifts - Truck Toyz Store Best riding would be the Icon 4.5", IMO. However I'm not sure how well it will clear the 37/14 Toyos. I would definitely recommend the Icon dual stabilizer setup as well (you can add it to the Icon 4.5" in the site). As for wheels.......hub-centric is going to really limit your wheel selection..... |
