Leaf Springs to Colis Springs

Can you take a 05-07 stock coil suspension and put it on a 99-04. I know the frames are different. I want to upgrade to coils for a better ride and better turning radius. Recommendations?

Sure can, get both axles from a '05 up. Lift kits will all bolt right up. 2.5" up kits use 4 link arms for the best ride quality. PM if I can help.

Their are a couple of kits but will end up more $$ plus will not help the turning radius. You could take your truck to a very experienced 4x4 off road shop and have them build you a 4 link with coilovers..but won't help the turn radius either and cost$$

I've been wondering about this also, and wanted to know if I get an 05+ axle and a 4 link lift what else is needed? Is the steering the same?

You may need to ream the pitman arm to fit the new Tierod. The track bar bracket may not fit depending on the year axles you get..just weld a new mount on the frame. Sway bar mount will be needed..really all in all very easy. So easy I have kits to do '05 up axles to the OBS trucks..
