going down to a 4" lift

i have an 8 inch superlift on my truck that was on it when i bought it. it rides like crap so now i am wanting a 4 inch that rides good. but the only thing is i have no stock stuff and in hawaii we dont have many junkyards, and the ones we do have are full of hondas and nissans. a local offroad shop quoted me 1650 for a skyjacker that has all the stuff for the drop. just looking for opinions on what will ride good, include everything i need to go down to 4", and within my price range which is about 1700 including shipping. which i also know is hard since i live in hawaii. so like i said any advice is greatly appreciated and if any vendors can hook me up let me know. thanks

If you have a 99-04, I know its really easy to install yourself and I got my 4" skyjacker for $1001 online and installed myself

sorry its an 04 f250 harley davidson. its an all spring kit that is on it so i need an all spring kit. the only thing about online is the is cost of shipping, it is reidiculous out here. so 1650 really isntt bad but i am not sure about the ride and quality of the skyjacker.

Is there a spring shop in Hawaii that can make you a set of springs? That would save the shipping and you could specify your spring rates. Use that and order a set of shocks specifically valved to match and you're in business.

no not that i know of, and if there was one they probably would want more than the cost of a lift.
