I have a 07 F250 with 72K and on my 3rd steering gear. Mine has been breaking the gears in the box, so slightly different problem.

Have you been flushing the system when you change the box? The first time I lost my box I kept driving it and lost the master cylinder. The whole system was loaded with metal shavings and it went through the diaphrams. Don't want you to have to replace the master cylinder since it is expensive enough without that.
