Anyone seen this before?

This is on the rear suspension of my truck. I've never really looked at any other super duties to know if this is factory or not. Is it? Or is it something special that i have?

I know anytime i hook to a heavy trailer, these ride on the arm thingy on the rear block.

They are stock on trucks that don't have overload springs I think. My 04 doesn't have them but I have overloads.
