FX4 "Rancho" shocks made by Ford?
I was up under my truck the other day taking a look around (I just bought the ICON 2.5" leveling kit with 4" blocks and adjustable track bar
 ) and I noticed that the "Rancho" shocks have Motorcraft stamped into the metal. Is Ford slapping Rancho stickers on white shocks and passing them off? Anyways, I'll be getting rid of them and installing the new ICON shocks. I can't wait to see how much the ride improves. Hell I'll be happy even if it doesn't improve...it's a truck, not a car... Anyways, they've only got 9.2K on them so does anybody need a set of stocker shockers...errr shocks???

I've always heard rumor of the same thing.
Kinda blows because I think it gives Rancho a bad name.

I think the factory rancho's ride like crap and rust up pretty fast also had them on my last truck.
