Adjustable Track Bars.. Icon VS Pure Perf.?

I'm looking at adjustable track bars for my truck because even with the small lift I can tell the axle is shifted left a little..

I see the Icon adjustable bar selling for right around $300 and the Pure Performance adjustable bar selling for right around $200..

I know a lot of you are running the Icon bar and are happy with it, but is anyone running the Pure bar and happy with it? Are either prone to problems? Can the bushing on the one end be replaced when they get worn/wobbly?

I have the ICON. Solid unit. Comes with an upper polyurethane bushing and attaches to the existing stud/ball joint located on the top of the axle housing.

What's the odds of the ball joint end going bad?

If your truck is just leveled I would imagine the pure performance bar will work fine for you, but if your considering going any highe in the future I would go for the ICON since it can handle a bigger lift.

Yes the ball joints go out. Tank just had to put one on his. There is another trackbar available that replaces the "ball joint" with a solid mount and then uses a trackbar with heim joints. Here is some info:

I'm guessing that the ball joint has to bought through Ford? I may as well replace that when I get the Icon bar. Does anyone know what the joint costs?

The Icon and the Pure Performance can both be rebuilt. Neither comes will the axle joint. If your lifting 4" and over the Pure's has better geometry built in.

The Icon bar is titties....I only have a 6" drop for my track bar...have the Icon one on and its adjusted perfectly for my 10-11" of lift...cant beat it IMO

Does the Pure bar do away with the ball joint? I read on Pure's website that it does on the coilover kits, just wondering if it does when you buy just the bar? I'd like to get rid of it all together. Has anyone on here ran the Pure Performance bar?
