Well, I can tell you that I used to think anyone that would spend the extra bucks to get Icon was just buying the hype. But, I put an Icon leveling kit on my truck...and all I can say now is WOW, what a difference!!

Well worth the money.

Mark

RCD is good..Ready lift shouldn't ever be compared to a quality lift.

Icon rides the best. They have shocks specifically valved for your truck. Instead of using generic shocks.

thats if you buy the icon shocks. otherwise i think alot of people get the bilsteins. i have an icon lift so i am not bashing them but at one time the icon shocks were edelbrock shocks and i was told by a dealer a few years ago that they had a problem with them leaking in cold weather. thats the only reason i went with bilsteins, otherwise it would have been icon's.
but, the lift itself is built like a brick s**t house.

Icon does make some of the best riding and best built systems on the market today, IMO.

As for the shock comment regarding Icon's supplier.....things have changed over the years as far as who is making their shocks

I think it was DCSpecial, or someone else from truck toyz that posted pics that compared an ICON kit to a Procomp kit and you could just see the difference in quality. ICON puts a lot into their kits and it shows. Even though im not running one of their kits right now I will be very soon. The 4.5 kit in my garage is just all around beefy compared to other kits ive seen on other SDs.

IMO, Icon and Rize are the two best kits out there.
