Front end?

How can i tell if i have a dana 50/60 or a splicer 44? It is a 1997 ford f250 7.3 4x4 single cab long bed

should be a dana 50. i got the same truck.

theres a tag on the passenger side of the axle that faces the back of the truck that tells you axle information.

if its stock you have the dana 50, if someone droped a solid axle its a dana 60, does the axle have 2 pivot points in the center under the engne?

what should it say i checked the tag and it didnt say if it was a 50 or not?

dana 50. See how it pivots under the engine. the 44 like that is in the f150 and if was solid all the way across it would be a 60

So the DANA 44 is only made in the F150's?
