Rear blocks on FX4

How tall are the blocks on a 2004 FX4? I thought they were 2" but a guy at a shop told me they are 2.5". Are we both just estimating?

If the 04s are the same as the 06 they are 4" I just measured mine.

Thanks for checking. I just measured again and it looks right at 2" to me. I'm just measuring the block with the wing that sits on top of the "plate" that's on the axle, correct?

Also, does Ford make a block shorter than 2"?

no 2 inch is as short as ford makes the f-350s block i think is almost 4 inches tall f-250s had the 2 inch block

I was measuring everything between the axle and the bottom of the leafs but the top portion is 2.5"s
