07 Lift on an 08?

Might be a dumb question, but why is it you cant use an 07 lift on new model SD's? The kits looks exactly the same.

the track bar drop bracket is a different shape where it tucks up against the frame,the sway bar drop is different front & rear. you can still make an 07 kit work but with no swaybars & a spacer needs to be fabricated for track bar drop.

and the steering stabilizer drop is different

i do believe the rear springs are different lengths as well by about 10 inches.
