Ok fellas, now i'm confused. Please help straighten me out. I measured the blocks under the back of the truck. The one that connects to the axle is 2" thick. The next one up is 2" thick, and the one between the leaf block and the separated spring is 1" thick. The second block up is the one I thought I would be replacing, apparently it's not the stock 2.5" On top of that the very bottom and very top leafs have FORD engraved in them so they aren't part of the kit. I'm not sure what I've got in the back now.

I'm starting to figure out what I've got. The part numbers on my shocks are 650328 front and 658049. These are Rough Country shocks used in the 8" suspension lift kit. The front leaf block looks like the one used in most of their front lift kits as well. Still not sure what's going on with my springs/blocks in the back though. Can anyone tell me what's been added back there above and beyond stock?

Axle Pad (flat surface attached to axle) Block (you say 2" thick....that is a true suspension block) Leaf spring pack Overload separator Overload spring If your intent is to raise the rear, you replace the removable block on top of the axle pad. In this case the 2" block directly under the leaf springs. In looking at the pic of the rear leafpack, the second spring from the bottom is not included in the "spring clamps", and is most likely an add a leaf. This would account for about 2" of rear lift, or the equivalent of about 4" total block if you didnt have the add a leaf. So....you essentially MAY have a 2" lift in the rear over stock.
