The center bolt on the spring pack keeps them together. Jack the truck up and put jack stands under the frame, place a jack under the axle to hold the tension off of it, cut the old ubolts off, slowly lower the rear axle until you have enough room to remove the old blocks and install the new ones. Lift the axle back in place (there should be a guide where the center bolt rides in the block to keep it aligned), install the new ubolts and torque them to specs and you are done. Not too hard should only take an hour give or take. Never reuse the old ubolts though, they stretch and will never tighten properly again.

So if my lift blocks are stock 2.5" then do the F350s come with the 3.5"?? Could I maybe find a set of used F350 stock blocks and put those in?

Thanks again.

Where did you find your F350 blocks?? Does anyone know what the range of years and/or trim packages have 3.5" blocks that will slide into my 03 F250SD? It's a SCSB

Thanks

it may take you a while to find some off of another truck, so if you are patient you could wait till you find some. if not i would get those aluminum ones you posted up, they look solid and will definitely do the job. and its a easy job.

Thanks for the input. That's what i'm leaning toward just wasn't sure if the quality was there with the ebay blocks.

The tang sticking out is designed to make impact with the bumpstop on the frame directly above the axle when overloaded.

The lift appears to be a superlift or skyjacker. I can't remember which, but one of them uses tons of springs that longer incrimentally. The lift seems to really come from the stacking of the springs, more so than arch in this case.
