8" icon rear springs w/F250 block..carrier bearing shim amount

I will be lifting my truck this weekend... 9.5" Rize 4-link in the front. The rear i have Icon 8" rear springs with the stock F250 block. What is the drop on the carrier bearing to make sure I don't have any vibration??? I have an 05 Crewcab short bed...
I know someone has done it and I just need a starting point. I will start with the 1/4 shim for every inch of lift. So I am looking at starting out with 2" drop. If someone with this same setup could go out take a quick measurement, it would be appreciated.

With my kit it said to use every shim for the the 8" springs but this is without the rear f250 block.

So, you don't have a block at all between the springs and axle?? How thick are all the shims stacked up???

Yep, no blocks at all. I am planning on putting the blocks back in soon though. I would say it is close to 2" worth of shims.

Every truck is different I tried from 1.5"-3.25" and all have had the shutter. My best I found on my truck is 3" and that with stock springs 2" add-a-leafs, 6" block and 1.75 stock block on that 9.75" total plus traction bars and still have a very slight shudder at take off very small only if I punch it. I got the bds drop bracket for there 8" kit and its a 3" drop good luck

Thanks... I am going to make my own adjustable drop bracket. Kinda like the OUO.. Going to get some steel tomorrow. That way I can adjust the drop as well as the angle of the carrier bearing so I can keep the driveline straight as an arrow.
