07 & 08 2" or 3" lift

I am getting ready to order a lift for my truck and my cousin's truck. We are looking at the Rough Country 3" suspension lift. I want to like this lift better than a 2.5" leveling kit because it has new springs, radius arm brackets, etc. It seems like a more complete kit. Has anyone had any experience with this kit? I have had a preference for Skyjacker in the past but can seem to find anything of theirs comparable. All advise and input is appreciated.

That is an odd problem, I haven't had any problems with the cruise so far. Hope it doesn't pop up, I have 32,000 on mine it will be out of warranty in about a month.

So the coil springs, brackets etc. are decent? If that is the case I don't have a problem upgrading the shocks. I figure I'll end up putting a dual stabilizer on it. The only decision now is to go with 285/65/20 or 325/60/20 on my stock rims. Thanks for the advice!

LOL. Or better yet, save the hassle and just call us toll free. We'll take care of you. The shocks do leave a lot to be desired. They are your standard white powdercoated Gabriel shocks. We can upgrade you to Bilstein 5100s, and w/ that kit, it's a nice ride and a good bang for the buck. Thanks

Depends on what you are looking to get out of the lift.

Best ride will come from the Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5". Icon uses a replacement cam to correct the caster (that's what the radius arm drop on the RC 3" is doing..correcting caster).

We offer a few different leveling systems for your truck:

Let me know if you have any questions.
