Question Leveling Kit Question

A buddy of mine has an 07 Crew Cab 4x4 Ford F250 and he just installed the ICON 2.5" leveling kit and was wanting to do the TEI upgrade and have 3.5" of lift, but he is hesitating because there isn't a 3.5" radius arm drop bracket out there that you can buy seperately. We contacted ICON and they said that you don't need the drop brackets because you can go 4" without messing anything up. They said that we would only need new cams and the adjustable pan rod. So, we found a 1" spacer and 3.5" radius arm drop brackets at readylift.com. Do you think that the 1" spacer that they offer would work with the ICON leveling kit? Also if anyone has any ideas or knows where you can purchase radius arm drop brackets by themselves please let me know. Thanks for any responses and your help

Yes the radius arm drop brackets will work just fine. You might need remove the Icon castor cams as your geometry will be close to stock. Have your castor rechecked once the drops are installed as many of these trucks drive better with more castor than factory speced. The spacers from readylift are 1.5" vs. the Icon 1". They are priced about the same, it is your choice.

I am doing the same thing on my 09' icon 2.5" and topgun customz 1" spacer which does the same job as icons but costs $43. I spoke with icon also about the extra 1" they said the cams that come with the 2.5" give the front enough caster to cover the extra 1" without issues nothing else needed besides the track bar. I finally got all my parts and will hopefully do mine this weekend!

IMO..I'd run both the cams and the drops..these '05 up's need additional castor over stock specs.

I have a 2.5" mini pack and longer shackles. I got like 3.5" out of everything and I'm currently running 35x12.50x17 with no rubbing. I eventually want to throw a 6" lift on.
