Newbie question on shocks
Hey guys, I am a very noob with truck/diesel truck. Just bought a 2000 F250, 2WD. It has 120,000 miles on the clock and all four shocks are OE.
I look at the shocks closely and do not see any oil leak at all. The four tires wear out evenly. These are aftermarket 20" tires, not the original 16" tires. Should I replace these shocks? how long do these OE shocks usually last? If I replace, what should I get? are those expensive shocks like Bilstein worth the dollars? Do they really provide smooth ride and improve performance as advertised ? I plan to use it on paved road 99% time. Thanks for your advices |
