2004 f250 psd when i hit a bump or go over railroad tracks at low speeds about 20 to 40 mph my steering wheel starts shaking back and forth sounds like wheels are about to fall off and i have to almost stop to get the shimming to stop somebody told me to replace the sway bar bushings and dog bones i did that and still no fix

My 06 F250 Fleet truck had the steering gear box replaced 3 times. I hit a pothole at speed and it took me to the ditch. Each time they did the fix it was good for a while. I got rid of truck at 168,000 miles

Steering stabilizer should help.
