I don't know anything about suspension, please help.
What is this? I can rotate this by hand about 40*. Probably what is making the noise when I go over bumps.

So how bad is this? Does this need to be fixed RIGHT NOW, or can it wait a week until I have more money?

It can wait. Actually its not that bad. As long as it only twist. The bump noise your getting is probably your sway bar busings.

That tie rod is supposed to twist. That's why it has ball type joint in it. Look here for sway bar info.
