Ok i looked around a little bit and the bar that your talking about is the track bar. 90% sure.

This site is full of great mechanics, but you sound more like myself... Not a great mechanic. What you are hearing could be a number of front end parts. I would make a trip to a tire shop or a Napa Auto Care center, anyone who does front end alignments and have them put it on a rack and check it out......... Sometimes it is cheaper to pay someone to check it out than to start replacing parts. Not to mention most of the parts you are looking at will cause you to need your front end aligned when replaced. Just my opinion...........

mtcarmelfarm very well said. I honestly dont think that bar needs replaced that he's talking about mine does the same thing.
