Ball Joints

How often do you guys normally see ball joints going out? I am at 82k and I guess my drivers side joints are bad. I have heard they are a problem.

Replaced all 4 of mine at 40,000. Lowers were worn, but decided to do the whole set. Go to Powerstroke Shop and get the Moog greaseable kit.

Talking to the mechanics, they see them shot at all types of distances, some early on, some later
