I thought that when you exceed 6" lifts you have to worry about brake lines, drive shafts, etc... I could be wrong though

Depends on the look your goin for. My last truck had 11"s total. 6" springs and 5" hangers in the front with 10" spring and factory F250 block in the rear. It sat a lil over the 39.5 TSL's. 8" and 38's is a common set up so with 9" you should be good but will prob be a lil tighter than I like.

Well I run 8 in the front and 4 in the back and 37 but I have had 38's on here with no rubbing. I dont see why 10 in the front and leveled off in the rear wouldn't be enough!

in order to clear 40's WITHOUT rubbing you'll need 10" of lift...you won't need new brake lines, just get extension brackets( IVE RUN 11 WITHOUT LINES ) and you'll need your front driveshaft extended.
