A Praise to my OUO Traction Bars

I finally got around to getting my OUO traction blocks on today and I have to say im even more happy and impressed that expected.

I have been a little unhappy with how hard my truck shifts with the Spartan 275 but have grown to deal with it because from what ive read and what ive been told thats the norm. I got the bars put on today and my shifts are 100% smoother than before and im very very happy. You might have a hard time believing it but some of those hard shifts that people are experiencing might be from axle wrap.

I will get some pictures up this week, a little embarassed with how dirty the truck is.

Yep, the Traction Blocks are a block and integrated traction bar mount. U-bolts pass through the block itself.

They also have just Traction Bars....without the blocks.

I have the factory 350 block plus a 2 inch block so Im wondering if it will really benefit me to get the bars or the traction blocks. ABout double the money to get the traction blocks

I had 7" of block in the rear 2 3.5" stacked. It was a horrible setup. You could roll the truck by hand and watch the axel wrap. The axel had to much leverage on the leafs. The only way i think icould have corrected was to get traction bars or lower the amount of block. For now i am running a single 5" block which made a huge diference. Next i plan on DIY traction bars like Whitelongbeds.
