Axle forward?

looking at buying a truck and i saw this one that i like but had a question on one of the pics i saw. it looks like the front wheels sit a little forward and not center in the wheel well. Is this a problem? easy fix? or with whatever lift it is should be like that.

Most leaf spring lifts are designed to move the axle out toward the bumper so the tires will not rub. I know fabtech leafs and donahoe/icon leafs are like that. And a few other brands. Nice truck by the way.

Ok, if either the tires are turned slightly or it is the case of the spring lifts moving the axle forward then im good with that.

heres a couple other pics. I'm going to go look at it tomorrow. any idea what lift it is by the pics?

Do you think this thing will still be capable of towing a tow behind toy hauler or is the lift too big? It shows it to be a 8" lift with 40's. I don't have one yet but in the next year or two i will buying one probably no bigger then a 30ft or so.

It's hard to tell what brand lift that is because the shocks are bilsteins. But the lift and the tires look brand new. The tires still have the rubber tits on them. And I don't think that truck would have any problem towing a trailer. Maybe add some helper bags later on. But I say go for it.

The seller got back to me and said its a 8" superlift, I think it may be a 10" lift though. I read in a article for superlift that the 8" is good for 38s and the 10" is good for 40s, so not 100% on that. The pics are old from when the guy first got the lift and wheels put on. It has another 30k on it since those pics.

Maybe he installed the leaf springs backwards as some have a offset center pin.

Those look like the 8" SuperLift springs. They use a lot of leafs per spring pack to gain the lift but each spring has a softer pay load so the ride isn't as harsh.

Looks to be a good kit on that truck btw.

I forgot to add, SuperLift does shift the axle forward and those springs are installed correctly.
