99+ F350 were suppose to have D60's 02+ F250 should be D60's Excursions all had D50's Now keep in mind 05+ went to coil sprung setups. I'd look for 05+ axles, D60 and Sterling 10.5. You should be able to find a low mileage set that's ready for gears/lockers for $1500. Stick with coils and do a simple 4 link or radius arm setup up front with trac bar. Coilovers if you have the cash. |

only thing about the 05+ coil setups im not keen on is im not the most brilliant when it comes down to figuring out suspension geometry, but i feel confident on the leaf sprung up front as far as figuring it out goes. granted, im sure ride quality will be significantly better on coils than leafs.
05+ also have larger calipers? will 17" wheels clear? |
