Drop pitman arm questions

I just installed a 4" Superlift on my 05 F250, but it didnt come with a drop pitman arm. How necessary is this piece? It seems like it would be a good idea to get one ordered. Im also going to get the carrier bearing drop kit as well. To me, I think these pieces should have with the kit. I guess there is a reason its priced as cheap as it is.

Any other suggestions to complete this kit?

What year truck? To save yourself some money, just go buy some flat washers for the carrier bearing drop. All the kits use is a peice of flat stock with 2 holes drilled in it....

the drop pitman arm will keep the steering linkage at a decent angle so as to not wear out your tie rods.. do it and save yourself a headache later.

I know my DR/ICON 4.5" kit does does not require a Dropped Pitman Arm. They dont use a different pitman arm until you go up to their 7" kit. I would say if you need ut they would have included it with the kit.

The reason it didn't come with the kit is because it isn't needed on 05+ trucks with only a 4.5" and smaller lift.
