OUO Bar Questions

I pm'd Dan with TruckToyz but thought I would post on here too in case anyone else wanted the info.

I was trying to price out a set of OUO bars on the TruckToyz website. Just want to make sure I'm clicking everything I need to click.

For a set of the Non-Adjustable, Non-Gusseted Bars it looks like $554.78, and then another $199.25. Is that all I would need?

Whats the purpose of the adjustable bars?

I know I could upgrade to the bigger UBolts but probably wont be doing it when I order the bars. Also want to make sure those are the bars I need.

Can you tell me the diameter on the bars?

Lastly...if I ever went bigger, could I order the traction block part and use these bars?

The adjustable bar is so that if you lift bigger in the future you can adjust them to make them work. The bigger U Bolts would be nice, but then yuo need to buy the u bolts and the top plates. I didnt go with that option right now for mine...money was getting tight. I will probably eventually upgrade though.

They adjustable bars are not so you can change them with increased lift.

"Adaptable" is a better word for them. It gives you room to slide the upper mount on the frame rail if something is in the way....also makes installation a little easier.

The $555 is for the 64" bars with a weld on axle mount, small gusset.

If you lift bigger in the future you can simply purchase the inner/upper tube if need be with the adaptable bars

Small changes in height aren't really an issue with either bar in terms of needing to change the bar or move the mount. Bigger changes in height will need to either get the new tube or move the frame mount.

Will the non adjustable bars mount up to the traction block if I ended up going with those in the future?

Yes, it's the same bar that mounts to the weld on mount, bolt on mount and traction block.

Only issue that might come into play will be depending on how much taller you go with a traction block.
