You sure do, but then again, look at how many cars you drive by with wheels that have fallen off. There comes a point where inspections make sense, but the great state of Maine went WAY overboard with the rules. Can't change wheel sizes from stock, and can only go up or down 2 tire sizes. Has a frame height limit, don't remember what it is, but 4" and 35's puts me over it. ![]() They pretty much killed the custom scene around here. No low riders, and no high boys. Kinda stupid if ya ask me. As long as it's done right, I'd see nothing wrong with it. People still have them, but get harassed. Then again, local ordinances ban vehicles around here. I can't go to any beach on my bike. The damn PD's bikes break their own ordinances. One town doesn't allow hot rods, bikes, people with dual exhaust, or trucks. If a dump truck wants to run through that town, they need to get a permit. My buddy got stopped last week, they told him the truck was illegal. 8" lift with 35" BFG's. Said it was too tall, and too wide. Tires can't stick out past the fender wells. He laughed at him and told him to look at the plates, he's registered in New Hampshire, where his truck IS legal.
