F 650 Dash Mod

Well some of you have seen the F 650 dash mod on a thread going around here... well i bought one then i heard of a generic version that was the same thing that was cheaper so i bought that one too to compare... well... i got the other one here today and its not the same... but it is nice... im not sure which one to put on my truck now.... one is big and bulky and the other is about half that size and still has a lot of room for switches and 2 gauges....

here is both of them together and then one of the new one by itself




now i like both but the new one seems to be less bulky and already has the whole drilled out for the cup holder....

which one would you choose?

also im gonna start carrying both of them for sale... the smaller one is about 59.95+ship and the larger is over 200

Hmmmm, that's hard to say. I wonder if the upfitter switches are going fit in there without any problems??

i dont have any upfitter switches.... so for me its kind of good that that lil cubby whole space is gone and i can put switches on their now

Also seems like the smaller one will be easier to read the gauges. Have you tried fitting them? Looks like the larger one will have to be modded in order to get it to work...

i have not tried to mock it up yet.. prob wont have time until sometime next week.... the smaller one would prob be hard to read gauges if i decided to put gauges in those wholes... because of the lip where the ( switches) go wont let you see them all that well....

i like both... but the smaller one prob look a lil better.... and still be able to fit someone to sit in the middle if i had too...

I use the pull out cup holder a lot so I would have to go with the one on the right plus I would be more likly to spend 60 than I would 200 for somthing that I dont have to have.

I like the newer (and cheaper) version. Here is my personal favorite though for about $40 and a few hours of time...

I like that idea also. That cubby hole is useless. Everytime I hit the gas all my stuff in there flies out

im not sure... but im guessing yes.. it doesnt really stick out more than the stocker....

thats the first thing i thought about when i saw it... that it would prob work with a manual trans
